Testing, More Testing and Even More Testing...

Yep, it's been nearly a month since we got our big (not really), beautiful machine. We've gone AWOL for a bit, but it's certainly not because we've forgotten about Project PET! Actually, it's the opposite. We've been as busy as beavers, looking for ways to get the perfect rPET filament, experimenting away with different speeds, temperatures and ribbon thicknesses, to get the perfect filament. After 6 tests, and 4 bottles, we are happy to announce that we've found the perfect balance... we think.

It's been a lot of hard work, and a lot of trial and error, but we have finally gotten some usable filament. We are hoping to start up production and get out of the testing phase in the new year, so stay tuned for more!
